ALPHARETTA, Ga. - The father and aunt of a 4-year-old girl have been charged with murder in the child's death.

Police identified the two suspects as Wilguens Decelien and Mara C. Decelien.  Authorities say both are from Haiti.

Alpharetta police say the little girl died from extreme alcohol poisoning at a condominium on Homestead Trail. Rescuers responded to a call at the complex early Friday moing. The little girl was airlifted to Scottish Rite where she died.

Authorities say they are examining the Haitian culture to see if there is any kind of ritual that would call for any kind of alcohol being around a child.

Both suspects have been charged with felony murder and second-degree cruelty to children, and they are being held in the Fulton County Jail.
