Fast food worker Derrick Stargell arrested for selling drugs
Derrick Stargell

Gwinnett Police said a fast food worker was serving up more than what was on the menu. Members of the Gwinnett Metro Task Force arrested Derrick Stargell last Thursday at the Checkers where he worked in Lawrenceville.

Police told reporters that Stargell sold an undercover officer drugs on three separate occasions. Police said Stargell would get the money, and then leave the drugs in the bathroom.

Officials said Stargell had pot, meth and heroin in his possession when he was arrested. He faces several charges, including drug possession with the intent to distribute.
