FAMU Drum Major Robert Champion Dies after Game
Robert Champion was one of six drum majors for FAMU's Marching "100." The Southwest DeKalb High School graduate died Saturday, November 19, 2011 after the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Classic.

A Dekalb County Man was found dead after a Florida A & M football games.  26-year-old Rober Champion, a student at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University was found dead aboard a bus parked in front of an Orlando hotel hours after the football game.
 
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

FAMU's student newspaper, The Famuan, said Champion was a drum major for the university's award-winning "Marching 100" band.

Authorities said there were no signs of foul play but detectives are still investigating.
