Police say a mother, father and their two young children were found dead at a Johns Creek apartment complex on Monday in what they say appears to be a murder-suicide.

According to Johns Creek Police Department spokesperson Rosemary Taylor, the bodies were found in an apartment at the Aylebury Farms complex located on Abbotts Bridge Road.  Investigators were called to the scene by one of the mother's coworkers who said she never made it to work on Monday moing.

Police say when they entered the three-level apartment, they found the bodies of the couple and their two young boys, ages 12 and 5.  Police have yet to identify the deceased, but friends at their Sikh Gurdwara said they are Shindiver Grover, his wife Damanjit, and their two sons – 12-year-old Sartaj and 5-year-old Gurtej.

Neighbors were shocked by the discovery. Police say this marks the first homicides in Johns Creek since it was incorporated in 2006.
