ATLANTA -- A former Georgia Institute of Technology employee has been sentenced to 10 years of probation after pleading guilty to charges that she stole more than $15,000 from the university.
Merideth Durrah was sentenced in Fulton County Superior Court this week after she pleaded guilty to making false statements, conspiracy to defraud the state and theft by taking.
Durrah was a program coordinator with the Georgia Inte Fellowship for Teachers program when prosecutors said she processed four checks totaling $15,200 for individuals who never participated in the program.
