Ex-Douglas County nurse Alisha Morgan arrested for having illegal contact with inmates
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. - A former nurse at the Douglas County Jail has been arrested for having inappropriate contact with an inmate.
Alisha Morgan, 35, was arrested Tuesday and She is being held without bond on charges including conspiracy to commit a felony, participation in criminal gang activity, attempt to violate controlled substance act, use of communication facilities and items prohibited for possession by inmates charges, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Morgan was a contract nurse with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office said Friday in a news release that an additional charge against Morgan is pending.
