Euharlee man Jeramie Akins arrested for child molestation

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. - Cartersville Police have arrested a Euharlee man for child molestation.

Authorities say Jeramie Edward Akins was arrested after a juvenile victim was interviewed at the Anna Crawford Children's Center.

After the interview and a physical conducted at the Children's Heath Care of Atlanta, police determined there was evidence to arrest and charge Mr. Akins.  

He has been charged with aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, cruelty to children, child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes, and rape.
