Firefighters battled an early-moing blaze in DeKalb County, and the flames gutted the home where the fire sparked.
Fire was reported around 2 a.m. at the home in the 2000 block of Marbut Farms Chase in Lithonia. Georgia Newsday has leaed that the homeowners were in the process of moving out of the house, and no one was hurt.
The home is considered nearly a total loss, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
