Atlanta police uncovered a drug lab early Monday.

The lab was discovered at a home on 10th Street, just north the Georgia Tech campus.

Neighbors called police after seeing the doors at the home on 10th street were open.

When officers arrived they found a drug lab inside the home.

According to the DEA the lab was set up by people who knew what they were doing -- not a couple of kids playing around.

The lab wasn't operational but agents do think it was designed to produce drugs.

Because the home was empty no one was arrested. In fact neighbors say there's been no activity either inside or around the house for at least a week.

Authorities have an idea of what chemicals were found at the home, but won't know for sure until further tests can be done.
