Police have arrested a wrong-way driver who they say slammed head-on into another car last week in Gwinnett County.

Beverly Wilkins was charged on Friday.

According to a police report, Wilkins had 12 vials of the powerful drug propofal in her purse.

The report says she admitted to the officer at the hospital that she had stolen the drugs and had injected herself at a gas station before she got on Highway 316 last Friday night in the wrong direction.

Police say Wilkins hit a car with five people inside. She apparently had no memory of the accident.
