DMX Arrested on Another DUI Charge
DMX

Rapper DMX has been arrested in the American state of South Carolina and charged with driving under the influence.

Jail officials in Greenville County say the 42-year-old, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was arrested early on Friday moing.

He was also charged with not having a driving licence.

Simmons was arrested last year in nearby Spartanburg County on suspicion of driving without a licence.

In that case, he was released after paying a fine.

Records show the rapper has since been released from jail.

Simmons was arrested in a Phoenix suburb in 2011 after police clocked him driving at 102mph.

He had recently finished a stint in prison after his probation was revoked for failing to submit to drug testing and driving without a licence.

DMX released his seventh studio album, Undisputed, last year.
