The search continued Thursday for a 26-year-old man accused of shooting a DeKalb County police officer in the arm.

Investigators searched all night for Derek Dwayne Frye, who is accused of shooting officer Jerome Tillery on Wednesday.

DeKalb County police spokeswoman Mekka Parish says Tillery answered a call about a suspicious person and gunshots in south DeKalb County.

Police say Frye got out of a pickup truck and fired shots at Tillery, who was struck in the arm.

Tillery was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Parish says Tillery is in good condition and recovering.
