Dash cam video shows wild police chase with suspect Bradley Turner
Paulding County authorities have released a dash cam video of a wild chase through three counties involving officers with four different agencies at speeds of more than 100 miles an hour.
It all started when Paulding County deputies wanted to question Bradley Tuer, 25, about a hit and run in a parking lot but instead he got in his truck and took off.
Law enforcement from Paulding, Bartow and Cobb Counties, as well as Emerson Police, chased Tuer as he raced through streets. Police say he was smoking cigarettes and drinking the entire time.
The chase took a very serious tu when deputies tried to perform a pit maneuver and Tuer slammed into a cruiser.
Roughly 45 minutes into the chase, Tuer pulled off the road on Interstate 75 on a bridge over Lake Allatoona. Deputies say he stumbled out of the car.
Investigators tell reporters that in a desperate attempt to get away Tuer jumped off the bridge into the lake.
Once he swam to shore, deputies were waiting for him. He was immediately arrested and faces at least 22 charges
