Craigslist Sexual Assault Suspect Darrell Cash Arrested
MARIETTA, Ga. - A man accused of robbing and sexually assaulting women he met through the Inteet has been arrested, Cobb County police confirmed.
Darrell Delane Cash, 25, of Marietta, was arrested and charged with two counts of rape, armed robbery, burglary and kidnapping.
Police said Cash would contact women on Craigslist and Backpage.com and arrange to meet them. Investigators said Cash would meet up with the women at vacant homes, rob and sexually assault them at gunpoint.
Investigators said some of the robberies and assaults date back to November in and around the 2600 block of Favor Road in Marietta. If you believe Cash is possibly connected to other similar crimes, police urge you to contact them.
