Covington man Davin Mann Jr charged in death of 7-year-old boy
A Covington man is facing felony murder charges in connection with the death of a 7-year-old boy.
The Newton County Sheriff's Office says 25-year-old Davin Mann, Jr. is accused of killing his girlfriend's son.
Investigators say last week, deputies responded to the home and found the child unresponsive. He passed away Sunday night.
The sheriff's office says Mann was the only adult home at the time of the incident.
