Cops assigned to school to monitor Pledge of Allegiance
Teachers, better make sure your kids don't leave any words out of the Pledge of Allegiance unless you want to end up with cops in your classroom. The parent of a student at Mill Creek Elementary School near Geneva, Ill., alerted just about everyone — from the school board and administrators to Facebook friends — after overhearing the kindergarten class's recitation, which, it is alleged, skipped words including "liberty."
