Columbus Police Seek Suspect in Cinder Block Attack

COLUMBUS, Ga. - Columbus police are seeking to arrest a man suspected of hitting an 80-year-old with a cinder block.

Authorities say 40-year-old Darcy Fuller had gone to a home to talk to an ex-girlfriend about their relationship when the pair got into an argument and the suspect grabbed the woman by her arm.

When the 80-year-old homeowner told Fuller to stop and leave his property, police say Fuller grabbed a cinder block, hit the older man in the forehead and then fled.

The 80-year-old was treated for cuts around his left eye.
