Demere NeSmith was arrested for child molestation allegations.
On Monday, June 29 the Evans County Sheriff’s Department requested the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to investigate allegations of impropriety.
On Monday, August 17, NeSmith was arrested for the offenses of Cruelty to Children and Criminal Attempt to Commit Child Molestation.
NeSmith was the Dealer Principal of NeSmith Chevrolet Buick GMC in Claxton, Georgia.
The investigation is still ongoing.
