After days of no mail and no trash pick-up, things are finally getting back to normal.

The post office says it was finally able to get delivery trucks back on the roads Thursday. Officials with the post office say they are delaying bulk mail and may work Sunday and the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday to catch up on the mail. That decision is to be made later Friday.

Atlanta officials say garbage pick-up will resume Friday. They are advising all city residents to put their trash out on the curb.

Mayor Kasim Reed says he's staffing extra crews all weekend to get the last of the ice off the roads and get city services caught up.
