City of White police chief David King and officer Blake Scheff arrested by GBI
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said they have arrested the City of White police Chief David King and Officer Blake Scheff on Wednesday.
King, 58, and Scheff, 26, were arrested on charges of false imprisonment under color of legal process, theft by extortion and violation of oath by a public officer.
The arrests follow an investigation that was initiated by GBI in October at the request of the Bartow County District Attoey’s Office.
