Mother Dead, Kids Bound in Clayton Home
Clayton County police say three children were found bound in a home on Monday, September 12.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - Clayton County police located a missing child in a local hotel hours after discovering her mother dead and her siblings bound inside a home.

Authorities say the woman and two children were found at a home on Lexington Court near Riverdale. The woman was said to be 32 years old, while the children were 4 and 12, respectively.

After discovering another child was missing, police issued an Amber Alert. They located that 9-year-old girl at a hotel in Bartow County.

According to the Associated Press, 33-year-old William Nazario was being questioned by police.

The girl was being examined for any injuries by an EMS team.

The family's pastor, John Ward, said he had been counseling the couple. Ward came to the home Monday moing after the family said they had not heard from the couple in a couple of days. He says the man had been verbally abusive to woman but was not aware of any physical violence. 

According to police, none of the children found in the home were apparently harmed.

The incident is under investigation.
