CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. - The Cherokee County School Board is set to vote Thursday night on a controversial debate involving the separation of church and state.

At issue is whether or not high school graduation will continue to be held at the First Baptist Church of Woodstock.

School officials say the church offers the most space and it only charges $2,000 for all the county's graduation ceremonies.

But a national advocacy group is threatening to sue the district unless it finds a non-religious venue for graduation.
