Cherokee County police say a Canton man is in jail after being arrested for allegedly making terroristic threats on Facebook involving police officers.

Chase Adcock, 21, was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats after a conceed citizen discovered he had written "Die Pigs" in a post on his Facebook page.

Adcock allegedly posted the threatening comments on Friday. As a result, Woodstock Police issued an Officer Safety Alert.

Officers located Adcock sitting on a park bench Friday afteoon and took him into custody.
