COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities said Thursday that they have located the body of a Cobb County man who had been missing for a week.

The body of 45-year-old Keith Bus -- an amateur astronomer -- was located around 10 a.m. in Lost Mountain Park, say Cobb County Police.

Cobb County police say there was no sign of foul play.

Police say Bus vanished more than a week ago on his way to a construction job in Hiram. His red truck was discovered at Lost Mountain Park Wednesday.

Members of the Cobb Citizens Emergency Response Team or CERT searched Lost Mountain Park for Bus Thursday.

Wednesday night, Bus was supposed to teach astronomy to elementary students but he never showed up.

A friend of Bus, Daniel Herron, filled in for him.

"Keith always lit up when someone got it. You saw when a kid sees something he may not have had to chance to see before. It's very sad he's not here with us tonight," said Daniel Herron.

Bus' brother says Bus is a diabetic who may not have his insulin. His family says he left his cell phone at home on the day he disappeared.

Officials say the body is with the medical examiner's office to determine cause of death.
