Body of Georgia Drowning Victim Joel Fegarido Recovered
The body of a Georgia man who drowned while on vacation in Wyoming has been found. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department says searchers found the body of Joel Fegarido Friday afteoon.
The Newnan man drowned last week when he tried to save his 10-year old son, Joey. The boy was struggling in the "Lunch Counter" rapids last Saturday, when his father jumped in and pushed him to safety.
The current was too strong for Joel Fegarido to overcame. He was unable to make it safely back to shore.
