MACON, Ga. - A Bibb County sheriff's lieutenant has been charged with holding his wife and another man at gunpoint, then firing a shot.

The Macon Telegraph reports that Lt. Harry Fagan Fargason was arrested this weekend and charged with burglary, false imprisonment and aggravated assault. He was being held Sunday at the Monroe County Jail.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said that deputies were called to a recreational vehicle early Saturday moing.

Karl Crook told authorities that Fargason entered his vehicle, then held Crook and Fargason's wife at gunpoint. Authorities said Fargason fired a shot into the coer of the bed after arguing with his wife.

No one was injured.
