Barrow County man Eric Blackwell wanted for sex crimes against children captured
DEKALB COUNTY, GA - A Barrow County man wanted on 15 counts of child molestation was arrested on Thursday in DeKalb County.
Eric Beard Blackwell was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals at a hotel and is being held in the Barrow County Detention Center on multiple charges including, cruelty to children, incest, enticing a child for indecent purposes, child molestation and aggravated child molestation, according to the Barrow County Sheriff's Office.
"The Barrow County Sheriff's Office would like to thank anyone who attempted to assist in the apprehension of this individual," said post reads.
Blackwell is accused of molesting his juvenile daughter over a period of two years.
