Atlanta Police Chief to Comment on Taxi Cab Robberies
ATLANTA - Atlanta police Chief George Tuer is expected to make a major announcement Friday regarding a series of taxi cab robberies.
The string of crimes occurred in late October. There were four robberies and two attempted robberies. According to police reports, in each incident, a car cut off the taxi near a traffic light.
Tuer says he'll talk about how the Atlanta Police Department is responding to the crimes.
