2 Georgia Men Mark Jones, Brisean Esprit Convicted Of Killing Friend
ATLANTA -- Two Georgia men have been sentenced to life in prison after they were convicted in the shooting death of a 30-year-old man.
Fulton County District Attoey Paul Howard said 26-year old Brisean Esprit and 29-year-old Mark Jones were convicted Wednesday in the 2008 shooting death of Maximillion Stevenson in College Park.
Stevenson was shot in September 2008 while driving the two defendants, who prosecutors say were his friends.
Authorities say Jones later told a friend he shot Stevenson because he refused to give up his money when he tried to rob the man.
