ATLANTA - An alleged pimp is scheduled to plead guilty Thursday in connection with the assault of a woman who tried to escape a life of prostitution, says the Fulton County District Attoey's Office.

David Lee Walker is expected to enter his plea before a Fulton County judge.

Walker, 29, faces charges several charges in connection with the brutal beating of a 21-year old prostitute in April 2010.

"Her eyes were swollen shut. She had a small hole in her head from where she was beaten with a bottle," said Fulton County Police Detective Melissa Parker.

Police said the woman had tried to get away from Walker, whom she says was her pimp. She says he located her downtown at The Varsity and brought her back to the Rodeway Inn at Fulton Industrial Boulevard eventually forcing her into a dog crate.
