Atlant a police are investigating a shooting in downtown Atlanta late Tuesday night that left 26 year-old Deonte Rogers of Atlanta dead.

Police say Rogers was shot at least twice. He died despite being shot only a few blocks from a hospital.

Authorities are searching for at least two people, who they say specifically targeted the victim.

"All I saw was two dudes running down the street and one of them had a gun," witness Jamar Jackson said.

Police are hoping more witnesses will come forward.
