Atlanta City Worker Kinney Mitchell Fired After Sexual Encounter
city of Atlanta employee Kinney Mitchell was dismissed after admitting to a sexual encounter while in a city pickup truck on city time.

ATLANTA, Ga. - A supervisor in the City of Atlanta Public Works Department has been fired, after he was discovered having sex in a city vehicle while on city time.

Kinney Mitchell admitted to the sexual encounter in a videotaped interview with Atlanta police.

The Deputy Commissioner of the Public Works Department told FOX 5’s Morse Diggs that the city took immediate disciplinary action after leaing about the incident.

However, rank and file employees in the department say there has been an effort to keep the incident quiet.

A leader of a union representing city workers called this episode disappointing, especially at a time when city workers face possible pay cuts and layoffs.
