A Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives officer has been shot during a law-enforcement operation in Athens-Clarke County Monday.

An ATF agent was shot during a law-enforcement operation in Athens-Clarke County Monday.

Injuries do not appear to be life threatening, according to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives spokesperson.

A suspect, 20-year-old Javonta Darden, was shot and  killed by authorities.
