Andrea Sneiderman Barred from Courtroom For Hugging Witness

The Hemy Neuman murder trial took a startling tu on Friday moing when Judge Gregory Adams barred Andrea Sneiderman from the courtroom for the duration of the proceedings. Neuman is accused of killing her husband, Rusty Sneiderman, outside a Dunwoody daycare center in 2010.

Andrea Sneiderman is now barred not only from the courtroom, but also from the DeKalb County Courthouse for the remainder of the trial.

After testimony on Wednesday, Sneiderman hugged one of the witnesses, Shayna Citron, in the courtroom right after Citron testified. Outside the courtroom, Sneiderman was later overhead telling Citron, "You're not my friend anymore."

DeKalb County Assistant District Attoey Don Geary says he told Sneiderman not to talk to any other witnesses, but she continued to. He told the judge that she has her own agenda, and that everyone in the courtroom has too much at stake for her to cause a mistrial.
Neuman's attoeys have always wanted Andrea Sneiderman out of the courtroom when she wasn't testifying. The defense did not object to Geary's request.

The judge says Andrea Sneiderman cannot retu to the courthouse unless she is summoned to testify.

Sneiderman left the courthouse in silence with her attoey at her side.

Friday's developments occurred before the jury was seated in the courtroom.

After the announcement, the jury heard from several people who were outside the Dunwoody daycare when Rusty Sneiderman was gunned down.

Chiropractor Dr. Craig Kulmeier said the man he saw walk away from Sneiderman was Hemy Neuman.

Kulmeier’s wife, Aliyah Stotter, testified that they were near daycare and heard the gunshots. She said her husband checked Sneiderman’s pulse.

Stotter testified that she was talking to police officers when a woman arrived screaming for her husband.

”Later on, I told my husband Craig that it’s really weird that she doesn’t have a tear in her eye. I told a detective that as well, said Stotter. ”I was crying.

Hemy Neuman wept silently in the courtroom as Stotter testified.

Jesus Maldonaldo, a detective with the Dunwoody Police Department testified that Andrea Sneiderman asked him what happened. He said he did not tell her. He testified that he did not see any tears on Andrea.

Rusty Sneiderman’s father had earlier testified that Andrea had called that moing and told him that she was on her way to the daycare because Rusty had been shot.

The jury also heard from a witness who said Neuman shot Sneiderman a fourth time after he was already on the ground.

Hemy Neuman has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to the November 2010 murder. The trial is expected to last up to six weeks.

The trial will resume on Monday moing.
