A Buckhead grandmother said she was terrified when a gunman carjacked her at Lenox Square Mall.

70-year-old grandmother Anita Thomas said that she had two of her grandchildren in the car who were visiting from out of town when the gunman came out of nowhere and demanded the keys to her 2015 Mercedes S550.

”When we got out of the car and I saw him approach me with the gun, I told the girls to run. Honestly, it was my granddaughters I was terrified for. Thomas said

Her car had a tracking device and was found hours later in southwest Atlanta.

Lt. Jeff Hansal said that the violent are sporadic and have no patte to them. No arrests have been made in Thomas’ case.
