5 arrested in connection to fatal shooting in Gwinnett County
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA -
Gwinnett police have arrested and charged five people in connection with a fatal shooting Friday night at an apartment complex.
The incident occurred at the Anzio Apartments on Sweetwater Road in Gwinnett County. According to police, the suspects went to meet with the victim, identified as Noel Reed, 20, to sell marijuana. When the suspects met Reed, he produced a handgun and attempted to steal the marijuana. One of the suspects produced a handgun and fired. The rounds struck him and Reed succumbed to the wounds.
All five suspects were charged with a drug violation and two suspects were charged with murder. They were taken to the Gwinnett County Detention Center with no bond.
Police released the names and the charges of the suspects. They are listed below.
- Sean Swanson, 23 – murder, aggravated assault, possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
- Tia Coleman, 17 – murder, aggravated assault, possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
- Dominic Fullwood, 23– possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- Darquez Fullwood, 20- possession with intent to distribute marijuana
- Terrell McCallum, 23- possession with intent to distribute marijuana, failure to appear
