3 in Custody After Officer-Involved Shooting

ROSWELL, Ga. - Three people were in custody Wednesday moing after an officer-involved shooting outside a Roswell elementary school.

 

Police say an officer responded to an alarm at Mimosa Elementary just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, and when the officer arrived, he found a car with its windows fogged up.

 

Police say when the officer went to check on the vehicle, the woman driving it tried to run him over. The officer opened fire, grazing the woman in the head, according to police.

Police say they also arrested two men after they ran behind the school. Both the officer and the female suspect were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
