ATLANTA — Three finalists have been unveiled for Georgia's new license plate, each featuring a peach.

The three plate designs were selected from more than 500 entries submitted by the public.

A panel of Georgia college and university art professors narrowed the selection to eight. An online public vote chose the final three designs.

Gov. Nathan Deal will announce the winner Friday at a state Capitol news conference.
