ATLANTA -- Two people have been charged in a shooting that left a toddler injured, Atlanta police said.

On Sunday, officers found a 2-year-old shot in the lower calf at a home on Alyson Court, Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said. She said the victim was with her father on the front porch.

The victim, who was shot inside the house, was taken to an area hospital for treatment, Jones said. She said the child is stable and expected to recover.

Officers also found another victim tied to the incident, Jones said. She said a man who was shot in the hand was being treated at South Fulton Hospital. Police said he was shot at the same time and location as the toddler. The man is expected to recover, Jones said.

Two men were charged in the shooting. Jaquan Finch, 19, was charged with aggravated assault, cruelty to children and reckless conduct. The other suspect, Antonio Gore, was charged with tampering with evidence.
