11 people injured during Meriwether County CJ’s Sports Bar shoot-out
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating a bar shooting that left 11 people injured in Meriwether County.
According to WSB-TV in Atlanta, the shooting happened at CJ’s Sports Bar in Greenville.
Meriwether County Sheriff Chuck Smith says the incident happened just before 3 a.m. on Sunday.
Smith says people were gambling around a pool table which led to an argument where several people pulled out guns and began shooting.
According to the sheriff this is not the first time trouble has happened at this bar and he wants it shut down. No arrests have been made so far in this case. You are asked to call the Meriwether County Sheriff’s Office at 706-672-4941.
