“Aaron Rodgers, call me” - Miss America courts MVP
Aaron Rodgers got a big pick-me-up before his Green Bay Packers played the New York Giants on Sunday afteoon. The freshly annointed Miss America, Wisconsin's Laura Kaeppeler, had a message for the superstar slinger Saturday night during the pageant.
Introducing herself as a Packers fan, she pleaded, "If you're watching, Aaron Rodgers, call me!" No word on whether Rodgers, State Farm's Mr. Discount Double-Check, will take her up on the offer, or, for that matter whether her offer still stands after Rodgers struggled and the Giants ousted Green Bay from the playoffs.
Just kidding, we're pretty sure the offer still stands.
