Worker May Have Drowned at Atlanta Wastewater Treatment Plant
Emergency crews were dispatched to an Atlanta wastewater treatment plant where a worker possibly drowned.
Atlanta Watershed Management spokeswoman Janet Ward says an employee was taking samples from a basin when he fell in the water.
Ward says that officials are treating it as a drowning.
Atlanta authorities have contacted the Peachtree City Fire Department to send a dive team with wastewater diving capability to assist in the search.
