BIG THAW 2011

 

The ”Big Thaw 2011 begins this weekend. Until then be careful on area roadways this moing. After temperatures in the mid 30’s Thursday we had a lot of melting of the ice and snow on our roads. That has since froze over again and the roads Friday moing are icy in spots. By noon Friday the temperatures will be above freezing, so if you are conceed with traveling you might want to wait until this afteoon.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT 

 

This weekend the warm up will continue with high near 50 and oveight lows near or above freezing. Rain arrives next Monday and Tuesday, and that should be enough to erase the snow from our landscape.
