Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina has been placed in a medically induced coma after doctors discovered pressure on her brain.

The singer’s daughter was found by her husband Nick Gordon unresponsive in a bathtub at their home.

Paramedics arrived at the residence to discover him performing CPR on his wife which they then took over.

She was said to be in a stable condition, however, doctors later discovered swelling on her brain and placed her in a coma until the swelling subsides.

NBC news reports no drugs were found at the scene.

According to TMZ her dad Bobby Brown has since arrived at the hospital and is now at his daughter’s bedside.

Her cousin Jerod Brown told NBC News: ‘She’s been through a lot, you know what I’m saying.

‘This is a hard time, it’s her mother’s anniversary of her death. It’s been a hard time, it’s a rough time of year.

‘But she’s a tiger, she’s going to pull through it.’
