We were like rabbits: Kelly Clarkson pregnant with first child

Kelly Clarkson has ignored Adele’s ‘no baby’ advice as the singer excitedly announced she is expecting her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock.

The 31-year-old revealed she and Blackstock have been at it ‘like rabbits’ since they wed last month and now all that practice has finally paid off.

Clarkson shared her exciting news with her 9million Twitter followers on Tuesday, posting: ‘I’m pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever.’

The former American Idol winner recently revealed that Oscar winner Adele had tried to put her off kids at this year’s Grammy Awards.

Clarkson said Adele told her: ‘Girl, don’t have a baby ‘cause everything else will go on the back buer. I’m living in baby land!’

However the newlywed defied the 25-year-old’s waing and admitted she has been ‘practising’ nightly with her talent manager hubby since tying the knot on October 20.

‘[We want a baby] like now! Practice makes perfect!’ We’re trying, trying, trying … Like rabbits!’
