Video shows driver Stephanie Wilkerson literally kicking special needs girl off the bus
Thank goodness this video that appears to show a bus driver kicking (literally, with her foot) a special needs student off a school bus is blurry. Otherwise, we'd have to watch it through our fingers. The Hillsborough County School District in Florida has just released footage showing the October 2012 incident in which the 8-year-old student fell down the steps and broke her ankle. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the student had slapped the bus driver, Stephanie Wilkerson, and refused to step off the bus. Wilkerson, who can also be seen rushing to the girl after she fell, was subsequently charged with child abuse and has been suspended without pay. [Source]
