U.S. Army reservist Tierney Walker arrested for selling identities of fellow soldiers
Tierney A. Walker

A member of the Georgia National Guard is accused of betraying her fellow soldiers for $500.

Tieey A. Walker, 22, is in the Fayette County Jail, charged with 116 counts of identity theft.

A representative of the 1177th Transportation Company in LaGrange said PFC Walker abused her position as an automated logistics specialist to steal the identities of 116 guardsmen at the armory.

The documents she tried to sell included social security numbers.

She had access to that information because she was involved in the process of printing military driver's licenses.

Her security clearance is now suspended.

The stolen information never fell into the wrong hands, because the person she tried to sell it to was an undercover law enforcement officer working for the Fayette County Sheriff.

Walker was working with the Georgia National Guard for about a year.
