Thomas Jesse Lee

A Georgia man who was convicted of killing five people in Troup County, will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Thomas Jesse Lee pleaded guilty, but mentally ill, after reaching an agreement with prosecutors Wednesday.

Lee killed his wife, her 16-year-old daughter, his wife's parents and a family friend back in February. Their bodies were found at a home in LaGrange.

Lee was arrested several days later in Tupelo, Mississippi, after he told a pastor he was having car trouble and needed a ride.

The judge sentenced him to life without the possibility of parole.
