Who would steal money meant to help a toddler hospitalized after she was struck by train?

Tallapoosa police say they've caught the culprit.

Authorities say 53-year old Barbara Green is accused of stealing a donation can -- said to contain less than $20 -- from a convenience store.

The donation cans were set up around the area to help defray the hospital costs for 2-year old Zoey Trantham.

Tallapoosa police say Trantham was hit by a train August 18 after apparently wandering out onto the tracks.

The 2-year old remains hospitalized in an Atlanta hospital.

Green bonded out of the Haralson County Detention Center Monday. Green denies stealing the can.
