An 18-wheeler hauling a dump truck on a flatbed was struck by a train Friday, April 1.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, ga. - An 18-wheeler hauling a dump truck on a flatbed was struck by a train Friday moing.

According to Douglas County authorities and the Georgia State Patrol, the 18-wheeler was on the tracks near Georgia Highway 92 and Broad Street as the train was approaching. The driver attempted to flag the train in an attempt to stop it.

The train could not stop. The driver got out of the way and the train smashed into the truck.

It is not known if there are any injuries.
